First farm visit for 67 years

My Dad was a solicitor in Gympie Queensland from 1945 to 1949. While living in Gympie on Caledonian Hill he bought a farm at 190 Glastonbury Creek Rd on which he had a share farmer, Jimmy Jackson.
I have been searching to know where the farm was and mentioned this to our fellow Christian friends,
Bryan Heck with Merv Betts
Bryan and Yvonne Heck who own Bryvonlea Droughtmaster Stud on Glastonbury Creek Road.

How do we know Bryan and Yvonne Heck?. They are Deacons at our Church in Gympie. Gympie Christian family on Fritz Road.Chatsworth

Bryan asked Merv how he came to have this farm? He said that his father bought it for the two brothers from a Lawyer in Gympie in 1950 named Derrick Herschell. He lost his legal licence because of a stuff up over Tuberculosis testing of cattle of his share-farmer.Apparently his cattle had not been tested and he sold them. Dad was suspended for three years from the legal profession.
He became religious after that". Well I know that in 1948 at the Gympie AOG Dad and Mum Herschell walked down the isle and surrendered their lives to our Lord Jesus Christ at the Farewell service of Pastor Don Westbrook. Maybe the Holy Spirit used the sacking of Dad to humble him and show him his need of the Saviour from sin. He was grumpy and bad tempered before that time and he changed so much after that. he tried to run the house like a Navy Frigate before he got really saved from sin. We all need to surrender to the Lord.
